A cafe and bistro on Swan Avenue, run by one family and named after their dog.
Lindsay and Ryan run Tallulahs. Their daughter Bobbie helps out, and Lindsay’s sister and niece work here too, so the person who serves you is almost always family.
We wanted a place in the village where you can take your time. Nobody will rush you out of your seat, and after a visit or two somebody will know what you order.
We are open every day, and the family will be in.
Tallulah was the family’s much loved dog. She lived to fourteen and died a few years ago, and the name above the door is after her.
She belonged to Lindsay and Ryan, and to their daughter Bobbie. Naming the place after her was not a difficult decision. She was part of the family for fourteen years, and this felt like the right way to keep her around.
It is also why dogs are welcome. Please bring them in for treats, fresh water and a comfy blanket.
Everywhere in the cafe, not just by the door. There are treats, blankets and a water bowl waiting for them.
Cooked fresh, served generously, and priced so that calling in is not something you have to save up for.
We are independent and local. We know most of our regulars by name, and we would like to know yours.
Walk in whenever you like, or ring ahead if you are bringing a few of you. Saturdays go quickly.
